Who is Shei?

Q: Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Cloverdale, raised in Enderby, and graduated in Lake Country. I have been living in Kelowna since 2007.

Q: What hobbies do you do with your spare time in Kelowna?
Anything that gets me outdoors on a nice sunny day! Taking a hike, road trips, camping, and kayaking. Also, any chance I get to see some live music!

Q: What is your favorite community/area of Kelowna and why?
I enjoy the Glenmore area, as I like being away from the city but still just a short drive away from downtown, the airport, and the mall area.

Q: What area of Kelowna do you live in?

Q: What is your favorite season and why?
Summer, for the blue skies, hot weather, and sunshine!

Q: What is your proudest moment?
I am very proud of the friends I have made from all over the world, and the family I have here in the Okanagan.

Q: How long have you worked for Rykon?
Since March 2013, nearly two months now and enjoying every day!

Q: What is your favorite part about your job?
Working with a great team of professional friendly people. Keeping paperwork organized and accurate, and making numbers match up!

Q: When would a client most likely come in contact with you at Rykon?
Unfortunately, when they receive their invoices! Also, when you visit our Sutherland office I’m at the front desk. On Thursdays I can be found at our Sonoma Pines location.

Q: What is your favorite style of home?
New construction, I like both traditional or log homes. My dream home is a Queen Anne revival style heritage house.

Q: Tell us something humorous about your job or that’s happened at work?
Every day I get to hear new funny stories, be it from our clients, our trades, or our employees.
